Where do the minerals in OxyMin® Gold come from? 

Located in Emery, Utah USA, The Rockland Mine encompasses the largest humic shale deposit in the world. At the present time, TRC has more than 1,000 acres of mining leases containing an estimated 320 million metric tons of humic shale reserves, which is sufficient to produce 950 billion gallons of TRC Minerals.

How many minerals are contained in the OxyMin® Gold formula?

Nothing such as citric acid or hot water is used to force mineral extraction and nothing is added to the product, not even colour. It is one of the purest and most natural products on earth. Each 500ml of OxyMin® Gold contains approximately 18,000 milligrams of 7 major minerals and approximately 70 trace minerals. This vast number of minerals seems out of proportion when you realize that our fruits, vegetables and grains of today contain an average of no more than 16 to 20 minerals. Even our meats and dairy products lack the minerals they contained a few short generations ago.

How do I know the minerals are actually in the product?

Every batch of minerals produced at TRC are assayed to ensure that the standard mineral ratio is present. The finished product is pale gold in colour but brilliantly clear. Hydrophilic minerals never settle out of the liquid. Due to a plant derived hydrophilic mineral's size to weight ratio, it always remains suspended in water in Earth's gravitational field. The shelf life of this pure food is indefinite and may be hundreds of years. It will always remain consistent so long as the water is not allowed to evaporate. If evaporation were to occur, powdered appearing minerals would remain. If water were added to the powder, it would become a liquid mineral again, with all of the powder in suspension.

I am concerned about calcium deficiency. Do I need to take extra calcium if I use full spectrum colloidal minerals each day?

We believe you should use a calcium source in addition to full spectrum colloidal minerals, particularly if you believe yourself to be deficient in this nutrient. The ideal regime would be to combine full spectrum colloidal minerals with a highly absorbable calcium/ magnesium formula such as OxyMin® CalM to maximise calcium intake and bone health. Many of the trace minerals contained in OxyMin® Gold play a very important support role in the health of bone, muscles and nerves.

When testing the minerals found in the foods of today, why is aluminium prevalent in most everything we eat; and, is it safe?

Think about this! Aluminium is the second most abundant mineral on earth, next to silica, which is first. Therefore when plants grow they draw aluminium from the soil. Very rarely will you ever find a plant or vegetable that does not contain aluminium. This form of aluminium is called aluminium hydroxide, which is used in food processing all around the world. Aluminium hydroxide is different than metallic aluminium found in cooking utensils.

How would Rockland compare to quality and yield of other colloidal minerals?

Rockland's humic shale vein is very thick, which allows more specific minerals to be obtained. The minerals are leached in closed vats (not open to the environment) using only cold pure clean water to ensure only pure colloidal minerals are taken.

Does TRC, The Rockland Corporation, make or private label other mineral products for other companies?

Yes. TRC Minerals are used in various mineral formulations around the world. Rockland private labels their minerals and sells some in bulk to other mineral companies, including Dr Joel Wallach for his American Longevity mineral products – Virgin Earth.

If our mineral deficient soils in effect cause us to be sickly today, what will happen to our future generations?

This is a good question and one that needs to be addressed worldwide. Think about this! Our world did not attain a population of 1 billion people until 1865. We reached 2 billion by 1925. We doubled again to 4 billion by 1975. Today there are about 6 billion people on earth with a prediction of 10 billion by 2040. Basically this means the population on earth has multiplied ten times in about one hundred and seventy-five years. During this period the minerals within the top eight feet of the earth's surface continued to be less and less each year. Where does this leave us? Frankly, this leaves our great grand children in a terrible mess. Something must be done, especially if the world growth continues at the same rate.

Our prediction! Should this occur, the bright people of the world would finally submit to and promote oxygen and a complete spectrum of minerals as a necessity to sustain life.
